NEED HELP!!!!!!!!! WeIrD vOlTaGe ProBlEm in my 87 GXL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay the car was doing fine for like 7 months since I put in a cdc-mp3 receiver, 2 600 watt amps and two zeus 10's all of a sudden the system just cut off and would not turn back on,
the first thing I though was the main 24k fuse under the hood, checked it and it wasnt it.
then I checked the fuse panel in the car, cause I have the receiver connected to the stock stereo's power, wasnt it either.
I got my head unit to work but I am now having weird problems.
when I turn on the stereo both of my amps turn on without the power wire being connected to it, I then disconnected the remote wire and they both stay on still, when I turn the receiver off they turn of(but how in the heck did they both stay on?.....).
I then hit the amp with the volt meter, I connected it to positive and negative, with the car off and it showed 0.75 volts(keep in mind the power is not connected to the amps)
I have never ever heard of this or even knew it could happen, could someone PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
