Need help..Question about seats

Hey everyone,I have a question that I was really hoping some people could chime in on.I've been looking for some aftermarket seats for my FD.I fully understand that you get what you pay for,i'm not arguing that..I was actually just wondering if anybody could offer any advice on this particular pair of seats that I was looking at.

http://www.andysautosport.com/mazda/...a00100063.html

I understand that you can't miss at all if you go with brands such as Sparco,Recaro,or Bride, but the thought of being able to pay ATLEAST a quarter of the price for a pair of seats that I think looks really nice interested me enough to ask for some opinions. So,I don't need to be flamed at all about cheaping out on the seats, and I want people's honest advice as to the look and, most importantly, safety of these seats,so all comments are welcomed! Thanks a lot for your time everyone.

I appreciate the response..The problem with the Ebay seats that you are referring to is that I have heard awful things about every single one of them;Safety being one of the biggest issues.Unless you feel like the seats in my link are basically equivalent to the cheap Ebay seats??

Those seats looks like the recaros. You might wanna check the clearance for the door panels. Also check for availability on the rails for those seats.

I wouldn't go cheap... Just imagine getting into an accident with one of those. No thanks.

If I had an FD again and had bad seats I would just spend the money to get them recovered. FD seats are some of the most comfortable seats ever put into a car, and they sit at the perfect height. I've seen plenty of FDs with aftermarket seats - all make the driving position much higher than it should be at

That's one of my main concerns..So are you saying that you don't think these seats are as properly tested for safety as bigger names like Bride and Recaro?
