Need help with paint
I might be getting a pretty cheap (if not free) paint job from one of my mom's friends. I think all I'll have to do is buy the supplies. So, I need some advice.
My car is Montego Blue. I am going to keep that color, but I'd like to go more blue (darker blue and less green, but still Montego Blue so the engine bay won't look ghetto). I just need to know how much to get, and what ratios to mix with. Also, any other amounts of stuff like primer would help.
Thanks,
Tyler

you should try a lighter transparent blue like the candy blue and just have them spray over it and re-clear coat it. i dont know how much it costs but thats one way to do it

Na - there are imperfections in the paint itself - acid burn or something...tons of scratches. People who owned it before me were retarded. I need to have it taken down to nothing, primed, and repainted, but I don't want to drive a green car. I hate green cars. But I can't afford to have the engine ripped out, so it'll have to be something close to the original Montego Blue or it'll look like ****.
