Need help, Left speaker not working

Non-Bose unit with JVC cd player. Driver's speaker does not work. Tested the speaker and its fine, must be the wiring.

All the wiring on the head unit look connected and not rubbing. Any suggestions?

Use a multimeter to test the wriring. If the wiring is bad, you can find the bad spot and fix it, or run some new wires.

Make sure the head unit is sending a signal to the speaker that doesn't work. You can do that by changing the wiring to send that channel to another speaker, or just run your own little wires directly from the head unit to a loose speaker. If the head unit is bad, replace it (or have it fixed).

Checked with the multimeter and got .097 coming into the drivers speaker while the passenger has over 1.

While I check farther up the harness, do the wires stop at a fuse or is a straight shot to the head unit? Thanks.

(working without a wiring diagram).

i think the best thing to do is to run a wire from the deck directly to the speaker it self, bypassing all the stock wiring

you will get less harnesses to diagnose and better signal from a thicker/straighthrough connection

I think that is the best way also. Just have to read up on which wire went where. Thanks again.
