I seem to have some sort of electrical short in my 88 GXL. The car won't start, doesn't seem like any fuel is gettin to the engine & the battery won't hold a charge. Please help me out, this car has alot of plans if I can just get this fixed. Thanks.

Chris

Please Help

I have gotten my alternator checked and that is not the problem, they said it was fine. The car does everything but start up, its very weird. This did happen once before and it was flooded. I did the pull the fuse, try to start it a whole bunch, put the fuse back in and start it thing before as an easy fix. I tried that this time too. Hasn't worked yet. Please someone help me. Thanks.

You are in need of a fuel kill switch. It shuts off your fuel pump. Post this in 2nd gen specific. You will get more exact instructions.

What is the ATF trick? I have tried the "unflood" method of takin the fuse out crankin it and then puttin it back in. It doesn't seem to be flooded, I mean would the battery not hold a charge if its flooded? More help please. O yea, I posted it in the 2nd gen too. Tryin to get to as many people for help as possible. Thanks again.
