there’s no tabs as I have been told there usually is just the horn assembly and the black ring that goes over it i can post up pics when i get home if that would help someone help me im not upset that i may have gotten ripped off or anything cause I didn’t i just need to know if i am missing anything so i can purchase anything if need be and be on my happy way.

To summarize:
And for reference I attached a picture of the metal ring insert Logan says to remove. I have a Momo so it works.
To summarize:
- That black ring is a Nardi Trim Ring that attaches to the face of bolt holes of your Nardi Classic Steering Wheel.
- And by simultaneously pushing down the prongs and inserting the horn mechanism, will you be able to affix the horn into the Quick Release Mechanism.

Being that Nardi Classic Steering Wheels utilize regular hex bolts that don't sit flush with the steering wheel face, as Logan describes, the trim cover is supposed to cover them. This is contradictory to most steering wheels that use allen key bolts like my Momo that doe not require a trim cover, as the faces of the bolts sit flush with the steering wheel. No worries though, the trim cover should just affix over the bolts with no problems.
