Well thanks to Damon's help, i decided to build myself a sub box to suit my Series 7.

Thought i would share some pictures with you to perhaps assist anyone else who is thinking of building one.. its not too hard.

The requirements i used in building it were

- max volume possible, but
- access to the spare (for all the interstate driving!)
- room for a suitcase
- removable if need be

The plastic fold down thing fits perfectly over the amp

I have a rather large amp from my last car, which takes quite a bit of volume up

I had to raise the front of the box a little, to allow for the 10" sub, + it have me some extra volume
