From my study of thieves. Its almost always someone you know, or someone that knows of you. They know exactly what you have and how its in there. Most thefts are planned... Take your insurance money you get and forget about stereos, and get some sort of a theft deterrent like a nice alarm, it aint full proof but it will help... Good luck next time around.
