My RED FD with FEED Hood.

Here is a picture of my FD with FEED Hood. I think this hood is great for people who want their hood with stock look. From the front view the hood looks totaly stock. But from the rear view, you'll see the large air vent. Under side of the hood, it still has the strong frame. Enjoy pics!

Is it functional with the V-mount? I would think the "fins" would be more close to the front of the hood....right over the intercooler.

Ya how is the Fit? Is it hard to Install? Do you need to use the Hood pins?

I took the hood off a JDM RX-7 we imported here. Always keep the goodie to myself. The hood pins are on it. Fitment on this hood is perfect. The quality is just the best I ever seen. Better than the mazdaspeed hood I had on the other FD. Thanks guys!

You would provide a great service to the RX7 community if you could do a "wool tuft" aerodynamic testing with your FEED hood.

This is done by applying 2 to 3 inch long pieces of wool yarn with tape. These should be applied to the hood just in front of the leading vent, between vents, as wel as behind the last vent. Drive at speed and watch the "flow" pattern of the wool tufts to determine how the air flows around the vents.

I have a feeling that the vents in the rear edge of the FEED hood suck air into the engine compartment as has been shown with a stock hood without the weatherstripping at the rear edge.
