My leatherseats.com gift and a few interior shots

Well in addition to my last few goodies for the car that can be seen in this thread
https://www.rx7club.com/suspension-wheels-tires-brakes-20/%2Alots-new-goodies-rims-my-baby%2A-429273/

I have finally gotten around to getting these seat covers put on. I got the group buy floormats which are balck and red as well as a lil paint thing i did with the stock door sills. And i Also refinished and painted the panels because they were looking horrible.

Hmm, i also decided to do the 99 Spec tail conversion since one of my lights had condensation anyways. Turned out to be a good project while the car was down for the seats.

Anyways ive been getting her ready for the hopefully big turnout at the A-spec Grand opening. As aways expect lots of pics from the meet and hopefully another one or two video compilations from the meet/cruise.

i also had a break in my center console but after being stiffed by 1wild7 here on the board i just decided to try and fix my current one. So far it seems like its holding up however i havent applied much pressure(thinking it might break) so we'll see. And my indertray was all cracked and hanging on the ground so i fixed that. JB Weld has so many uses :-).

Also car is hopefully goign for new paint in a week or two

hmm maybe i didnt make it too clear, but i refinished and painted the black interior pieces. All the ones that have the gloss black. The actualy red door panels are just the stockers cleaned up a little bit.

I have had leatherseats.com seatcovers since 2001 and they have held up great. Very good quality. The red/black look awesome.

I think i'm going to have mine redone again, this time with suede in the middle.

great job

Saw the seats in person at the ASpec meet(well, really after we stopped up north at that other meet). They look really really nice!

a lil past due, but thanks for the compliment.

wow, after looking back at this thread and th epics of my old interior i can finally say that the car is NO longer an auto. I have 3 pedals and a stick that can move 360 degrees!...no just up and down..heh.

but the covers i picked up from leatherseats.com. I have some connects in the autobody business and had a friend of a friend professionally install them for me. I just disassembled the seats and all the interior panels i took of the seats and painted myself. (on sides of seats, seat belt holder, ect)

all in all, they came out great. I could have bought completely brand new seat fro the total price on these but i like keeping the stock look, witha little customization.

Hey TC, do you think it's even possible to recover our seats without the little pleats in the material you usually see? Yours aren't as bad as other seats I've seen, but they're still visible.

i think it is but it comes down to many factors. You need a professional to install them and pull and shape the cover with the hog rings. It also depends on the manufacture. Some covers are designed to look loose and pleathery. I also think that some manufactures make the covers just a tiny tiny bigger for room when installing them.

BTW, they are holding up great and look justa s good as when i put them on.
