we all have different taste and looks how we want our car, i would have stayed stock CYM but if it makes you happy
*did you trade your wheels yet? well with that color you could get staggered black coated rims (Keep the car two tone) it will look good the way it looks now with that custom paintjob

haters, haters, haters... I wasnt actually expecting any pictures or followup to exist up thats why I put the image up :P
Looks great in my opinion I want to do a 2-tone black/tgm and Im about halfway through, just have to repaint the roof line now
Do you like how the black runs slightly lower then the window line? Looks almost like it curves, was that your intent?
BTW: What kind of hood is that? Looks like a karbonlite...

at the end of the day, all that matters is your own opinion since it's you thats going to be driving it. there's always going to be haters, oh well.
but if you want my opinion, personally i'd rather paint the black in lines across the car for a bumblebee theme.. ahaha jp. the car's definitely unique and will turn heads.

Um, no. The yellow alone looked really nice. The black on it just cluttered it up, and looks sloppy. Not that the work itself is sloppy, but the shape of the black area in front just looks goofy to me. Everyone has their opinion, and mine is that he should have just left it the way it was, and get some re-usable vinyl for shows if he wanted a more custom look. Driving a car that looks like that everyday would be embarassing.

One more time....You drive a Grand Prix with a v8. O and get this guys he thinks the paint job is cluttered but also thinks for a show look I should go with a nice set of "re-usable vinyl " Thats the ticket budy!!
And my car is as much a Grand Prix as yours is a Miata. The ignorance of some of the members of this board astounds me sometimes

please. I said that your car looks like ****. Maybe other people on here are too nice to say it, but it does. The car looked good yellow...and would still look good yellow. At least with the vinyl you could make it look normal again after the show instead of driving around a turd all the time. Hell, just redo the front. The back end, roof, and hood look pretty good (still not my style, but it looks decent). The front end is just awful, though, and totally ruins the lines of the car and what could have been a really cool looking custom paint job
Dude listen to yourself! Your basically telling him what to do (to satisfy your own interest) and it's not even your car.

No, I think you are taking what I said in the wrong way. I was just stating my personal opinion. People don't make threads like this unless they expect to receive feedback, and I'm giving mine. Most people don't respond to negative feedback with personal attacks, but hey - if that's how he wants to deal with it, that's cool.
It's not like this is coming from some domestic import-hater. I've owned 11 imports in the past few years...I love imports, and I've been a part of the import thing for almost all of the past 10 years. I don't have a built-in bias just because of the car I drive
True, if he's satisfied with it, then that's fine, but to me it looks really goofy in the front. It looks like he's trying to build body lines where they don't exist, and it just looks awkward.
