Angry My driver door handle broke.. please help

Ya so I noticed latley that my driver door handle is getting harder to pull on, so I sprayed some WD40 on it, and it didnt make anything better, and eventually it got stuck, and I broke it trying to open the door. First of all, what causes the door handle to stick in the first place??? and also how can I prevent this from happening again? anybody with info, id REALLY appreciate it, thanks

After reseaching this, I realized that the reason it sticks is because of the hinges which are built into the handle itself, which apparentley after a long time , seize up cause it to "stick" . If I had been more careful, I would have been able to dissasemble everything, clean, relube, and I wouldnt have had to spend any money, but anyway these aluminum's are half the price of stock and are better quality, thanks for the help!

hey guys I have another question, my passenger door locks are kind of "tricky". You gotta play with the lock to finally get it to open the door. Is this a problem with the lock cylinder itself, or maby something else?

I had similar problems. I think some ppl have suggested oiling the key or something or even taking the lock to a locksmith to have him unjam any of the teeth that might be stuck.

My problem was that the plastic door thing in the key hold broke of and some of it was still stuck inside. I just took the pieces out with a tweezer and all was good.

well update, I fixed the door handle, and only time will tell if the fix will last, but I used lithium grease to lubricate all moving parts, to avoid having to lubricate it again for a while. tommorow ill be installing the driver side lock cylinder. Its not bad yet, but it has a LOT of sloppy freeplay, and I dont wanna be caught in the middle of nowhere when my lock cylinder fails! lol thanks
