My 99 spec inspired design.

I designed this to be a classy alternative for the conservative FD owner. I looked into having a urethane run of these made but it just wasn't feasible.
Let me know what you think.

I don't know how much demand there would be for a fiberglass version. I tried to pitch this idea to the Stillen polyurethane fabrictors but they were not interested because the market for an item like this is just too small. I called a long list of injection molders and plastics fabricators but none of them seemed to be able to do anything at this scale. It is very possible to home-make urethane kits with the use of fiberglass molds but I do not have the time or resourses to do the research and fabrication for this type of job.

I also wanted to make a 99 spec minus pumper plate bumper available in polyurethane. But to no avail.

Pettit already makes this... although i'm not sure if it's urethane or fiberglass, everyone says the fit and finish is fantastic

it's fiberglass. That's the main reason that most people don't care for the Pettit facia.

Chuck from RE had a vendor and was all set to make urathane plateless '99s for a reasonable price... only problem was he wanted money up front before he produced a product, so nobody went for it...

I'd call chuck, and prepare to spend up front... build it, and they will come...

I would be paying too many middlemen if I went through Chuck. I really need to gauge interest and then wait to find the right molder. In all honesty, it would take a huge response for me to really get serious about this project again.

What are your thoughts on my design attached in the first post?
