Yes I am the guy that used to have the Penguin avatar....thanks for the complement on the car and yea I used to ask alot of questions on Bodykits.
When I have some money I will put the Border type 4 front on with Apexi sideskirts and 99spec wing.....no rear skirts and lowered a little for a nice ground effect........BUT........Im going to do my engine first.....Bodykits are now the last thing on my mind....Im now saving money to put some Pettit products in my car.

Why does your speedometer go to 180 like all of the us spec versions but says km/h? Wouldnt it go to like 300km/h? Just curious. 180 is only like 90 mph or something like that dont really know off of the top of my head.

60mph = about 110km/h
Max speed on the roads in New Zealand is 100km/h so there is no point realy to have a 300km/h speedo.
Dos yours go to 180mph and then have a smaller inner number set that reads kmh........I think the japs just like the number (180) and dont really mind if its metric or imperial.
I will be posting more pics of the rest of the showroom later to day! O yea almost forgot.....sorry Mike, no adoptions this year.....!

Damn man! I am comin over to visit with mine! I wish my dad would finally let the cool car bug bite him. lol thats funny. Sweet choices on the cars too btw, you have all the best cars ever made in your driveway/garage! I wish I had a little bit more money of my own to go and buy another car for myself.

Cheers fellas.......Yea my Dad is a Petrol-Head and my Mom likes sports cars.....My dad used to have a black MR2 like my bros one but with 15psi boost and an Apexi N1 exahust.....it was quick. He decide he wanted a little more style and 4 seats so he traded in for the 96 R33 GTS2.5T. Mom had a metalic blue MR2 auto....very rare colour then dad found a Supra and persuaded her to change over. Iv always loved the FD3S shape and not to mention the rotary...so when my turn came for the inheretance I baught one. I got $15000 inheretance and put that down on my car and Im paying the rest over 4 years.

Hey gdnimrod dont feel to down dude.....America has cars that are rare to the east....Many people like the Viper and the AC-Cobra and that Shelby GT500 from gone in 60 seconds and the GT40.
That's it!!! When I go visit my brother (he lives in Auckland too) I'm coming over and try to be very, very, very, very, very, very good friend of the family. I be satisfied with just a Silvia S-15!!!

our speedometers to go to 180mph and underneath it has the kmh which goes to 300kmh which looks to be about 174 mph. Ive gotten my car all the way up to 168 before but was just curious as too why yours doesnt go any higher.

japanese laws state that domestic cars can only have 206kw output (abt 280 hp) and a speed limiter of 180kmph thats why almost all jdm cars have a speedo that only goes to 180, just thought id clear that up, oh, and 100kmph is roughly 62mph.
oh nice car btw, very nice and clean, NZ is lucky with there import laws, our ones over here in aus are just getting worse and worse
