Multiple Gauge installation power question
with the installation of multiple gauges has anyone installed a better wiring block and power lines like you would for amp or any other load on the electrical system?
currently I have a boost gauge being powered on the same circut as the head unit. Eventually I'm looking at installing at least 3 other gauges (EGT, Water Temp and AF) And am thinking that this is too much of a load to put on a stock wiring harness made only for a head unit.
any suggestions/imput would be appreciated.
Thanks
Greg.

It can take it, but if you're worried, toss in a fuse or something.
I wired power from the fuse panel by the clutch pedal and some random bolt for the ground. As for the dimming, you can run wires from the ashtray light. That works well.

I'm looking for the cleanest install possible. I'm probably getting a new head unit soon (damn alpine, keeps jamming) so while I'm having that installed, I might just have them put a seperate block in there for the gauges.
Thanks for the feedback though. Greg
