Mounting Aftermarket Gauges in stock FD cluster

Has anybody done this? Essentially removed the stock gauge and replaced it with and aftermarket gauge. I am specifically thinking about the oil pressure and water temp gauges. It seems silly to have two oil and temp gauges. not to mention it starts getting cluttered. i know it can be done, just a matter of cutting and mounting. just wondered if there are any pics of it or hints/tips on doing it.
