More Dealership Mistakes
I changed my air intake thermosensor yesterday, a job that was made easy by members of this board (thanks ). However, when I was taking stuff apart, I found some more **** that the idiots at the dealership did wrong. I wrote them a nice LONG letter with the pictures I took, the whole story, my comments, and the stuff Chris Found, plus the actions that I have taken, and the actions I promised to take in the future. Here's what I found.
First, the things without pics. They overtightened all of the coolant hoses so that when they expanded, they cracked leaking coolant everywhere. Of course, they didn't all go at once, so it was a constant game of "find the leak". They also basically mangled all of the electrical connections - most of them have bare wire on them somewhere, because the electrical tape they used is coming off, and what was underneath is being exposed.
Now for the pics.
