Are Momo steering wheel hubs universal fit?
Are Momo steering wheel hubs universal fit?
Last year for my b-day, a bunch of my friends chipped in for a momo steering wheel for my 90 corolla, and they bought the hub accordingly. I was just wondering if it'd fit in my 89 FC? I've taken apart the steering wheel, but i couldn't get the huge nut in the middle off cause I don't have a big enough wrench right now. I don't have the part number with me, but I was just wondering if anybody knew if they universally fit for say all japanese imports? Or for sure not.
i highly doubt the hub would fit from corrolla to fc, but if u buy just the hub the steering wheel should fit no prob. as long as its all momo, some non momo hub have an adapter to make the momos fit.
i would not recommend using the corrolla one unless its the same part #, my friend almost wrote off his car like that.

All aftermarket steering wheel hubs are car specific. When you buy a hub for your car, make sure it has 6 holes for the steering wheel and it fits momo. Sometimes people sell grant or other hubs thinking that they will fit momo wheels. Grant steering wheels have 5 bolts and Momo has 6.
They might fit. Just try.
Most hubs are sold car specific, but some hubs can be put on several cars.
Like SA/FB/FC. There are 3 different hubs for these 3 models, but they all fit in eachother. It's just that 1 hub is a little higher(closer to you) than the other.
