Mazdaspeed sport seats

Anyone know where I can get a hold of the Mazdaspeed red sport seats or know of anyone willing to sell? All inquiries are greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Scott

Try www.corksport.com, http://www.rxecret7.com, or possibly even the RX7 Store. Honestly though, you can purchase better aftermarket seats for less money and fab your own brackets. Many of the Corbeau seats fit well, as do a few of the Sparcos.

yeah...they are also made by Tenzo R....one of the biggest rice companies. dont expect too much quality.

look into some seats made by Recaro, Sparco, and Bride. those three are pretty much the best companies, and they know what they are doin in terms of seat.

tuner seats are a huge waste of money, imo. Mazdaspeed, RE Amemiya, Blitz....not really known for making seats. they are also way overpriced, and not too supportive. they look good though....but there are also better looking Recaros and Sparcos for cheaper.

look into seats made by seat companies...not companies that put their name on a seat and called it theirs.

I'd have to agree...check out the above mentioned manufacturers as well as OMP and Corbeau. Watch the exterior dimensions at the base and at the top bolster/shoulder support area. Generally, you're looking for a seat that's 22" wide or less at the shoulder area, 19-20" at the base. Fabbing up a set of sliding rails isn't very difficult and I've heard that Corbeau, www.corbeau.com already has a set that'll allow you to bolt their seats right in. I have an older set of Corbeaus, GT9CS's which I had recovered in a material called UltraSuede. Black, grips like the R1 seat coverings, and has as good a wear rating as real leather. You can't tell the difference between it and real suede. The best part is, you could spill that large cafe' moca all over it while taking turns three and four through Sebring International Raceway and it would clean right up without stains, LOL. So don't spend too much money on fabric unless they can cover it in UltraSuede or something similar. Most use material similar to headliner material, which if used on a daily basis, quickly wears.
