Mazdaspeed Reservior Tank Cover??
i know this is in the engine bay, but I figured it's more asthetics than function.
since i never heard of it before, i was wondering if it had any real function. they SAY the following:
1. It helps keep the reservoir tank caps in place during racing and spirited driving, helping prevent spillage of vital fluids
2. If the reservior tank caps are jarred open, the tank covers help contain the spill and minimize fluid loss and absorb the fluid
3. The tank covers prevent dust and debris from accumulating over the tanks and potentially contaminating the brake fluid.
any truth to that/is it worthwhile or totally useless? I kinda feel #2 myself...
