Looking for Recomendations for Replacing Bose Center Channel Speaker.
Can I just throw any 3" 4 ohm speaker to replace the Crappy Bose one?? How about throwing a tweeter in place of that speaker?? I will be running a Blaupunkt Honolulu CD50 Head unit with Bose front and wave tube for now. But, I need to change out the center channel speaker bec. it has blown for the 2nd time on me (heat from sun+paper cone=****). I have priced center channel speakers and they are pretty costly. I am leaning towards throwing a spare tweeter in there.
