Looking for factory 3rd gen Radio and CD player?
I was thinking of going all stock on the sound system. What I have now is a factory radio/cassette player that works but does'nt put out much sound at all. I was told it was the radio going bad(fairly common). I'm looking for an original radio and CD player, but I don't want another bad radio. (Should I go aftermarket?)

i recently went aftermarket and don't regret it at all. i loved the stock system but i broke the radio part of it and had to either hunt down a good condition stock unit(not easy to do), or go aftermarket.
the aftermarket headunit does sound a lot different. i can't say it sounds any better however the best part is that the cd player doesn't skip at all or have trouble reading burned cds like the stock unit does. the tuner also picks up stations 100% better.
i do miss the interface of the oem radio since all the controls and settings are physical buttons, not complicated menu systems that are a pain to use while driving.
