Oh yeah, I was drumming up the extreme in my statement for sure . But still, if I were looking over the list (personally) I would only be interested in the seats that fit without modification whatsoever, and would be concerned that some people thought the modification they had to perform was insignificant enough that it didn't need to be mentioned.

Great idea for a thread though, hopefully you guys can get some good information compiled and put together! should be FAQ worthy when it's done!

 

the Zeta III is FIA , the sport one is not.

moved Cobra Imolas as trimming is a modification

 

anyone know about the reactive seats? I can get them super cheap, and a friend has had them in his de for just under 2 years and they still look brand new... His car is not an fd, just an 02 civic sir. I would like to get a set into my fd.

 

btw the part numbers are 72010 red, and 72030 black.

Just take the dimensions of any of the seats that are listed which fit, and then compare it to the seats you are curious about. If they are similar, then it will fit. If it's larger, then you'll need to compare it to one of the seats which do not fit. Then if it's similar, it's not going to work (at least not without some effort that is).

if your just looking for my passanger so you can swap out your worn drivers seat that works two. the more parts that go missing in my rebuild the more excuse i have to buy new parts.

 

heres a vid from Team Orange in japan. Asamoto is in the FD and sitting in a seat that looks like the Bride Gardis III. i read the specs on the seat and its big as hell but i guesse it fits...

I would really like to see some Recaro Pole positions in an FD. I think they would be the closest thing to an RZ seat, plus they come in alcantara.
