Leather seats, when do they show signs

I am looking for some advice on this, here is the thing.

250 miles from me there is a 95 RX7 R1 Dark Blue

All Stock

Mileage 25,628

I have not even seen this car yet, I have a friend that lives up there checking it out for me. The owner of the car is close to his family. sorry for all this info, I am trying to rule out obometer fraud or anything. Ill get more to the point. I am still waiting on photos to be emailed to me. All I really know now is that the car cond is in excellant but in the last year he replaced all the seals, is that normal to do at 25k I am not sure and the other thing is on the driver side leather seat it has some blemish or i mean has worn spot but not rip just worn. Passenger seat in perfect cond still. soo I am not sure if I am making a big deal about that or not. Ive never had a car with leather so I do not know when it starts to show.

I was hoping to get some info to check when I go to see this car, and I will have it checked out.

Thanks

There were no blue R1 models in '95. It's either an R2 painted blue, or it's a Montego Blue PEP or PEG model.

What specific seals were replaced? And for what reason(s)?

As for the driver's seat, I'm thinking you're referring to wear on the left bolster? That's a common wear point since there is a tendency for that part of the seat to get rubbed every time you get in and out of the car.

Just for clarification.

There were no 1995 R1's.
There were no blue R1's.
There were no blue R2's.
There were no R1's or R2's with leather.

Since it's "All Stock," it isn't an R model. Although most sellers on AutoTrader & eBay seems to think they have an R1.

957, Have you or any other member found anything that will reduce the wear on the left side of the driver seat? I have had the panel replaced and it again has worn down. I am looking at replacing the seat, but if this is going to keep on happening, I might as well replace the panel and put on a seat cover.
