Knightsports HID light kit or Hella HID fog lamps?
RXecret7 doesn't import Knightsports anymore?
Well I looked into Belloff and the have a low & high beem conversion kit for $1k plus shipping to the US from Takakaira but I have no info' on the Knightsports kit. http://www.knightsports.co.jp/catalo...parts/hid.html (Maybe someone can translate for us?)
Another option is DE Zenon HID projector (fog) lights by Hella.
They also have Zenon bulb replacements
They also make a kit for the Ferrari Modena. You think it can be retrofited on the RX-7? Maybe JimLab will take on this project?

The Modena one is kind of neat, they don't come with HID's from the factory for that kind of cash???
Don't forget the Rotary Extreme sleek light HID's.
Why doesn't Tony sell knightsports stuff anymore???

Yes, it's standard on the Ferrari. Maybe I didn't word it well. There is a small paragraph on it below. http://www.hellana.com/maineng/lev1b...headlamps2.htm
I haven't talked to Toni but Knightsports is no longer listed on his website.
btw: I uploaded my Corvette Thong Avatar in the lounge. ...so stop asking for it.

"While it is retractor bull system we would like to install HID unit. Of course with the vehicle inspection corresponding item. It received the demand of merchandising the HID kit from the people of many FD3S owners, as the part which compensates for the light intensity insufficiency of the genuine headlight. Knight sport, being joint with the Stanley electricity, is the FD3S private HID kit of the retractor bull system correspondence which does HI / LO change with sliding the magnetic valve. Of course, because the lens uses genuine, if optical axis adjustment is done, it conforms to continuous survey. In addition, there is no necessity of processing the substantial body at the time of installation. "

Now if I can only translate that english in to english!
It seems like it's saying no modification for the install, has both hi/low beams and it's street legal. That sounds great, so how does it compare to Belloff? $108,000yen or approximately $850 ($150 less than Belloff).
Oh I beleive Rotaryextreme is using the Hella lamps for their HID option but it doesn't look at tight as the Ferrari's lamps.

I've got a set of Raybrig R1000 white fog lamps that i plan to put in. They're pretty bright and have a nice clear and wide beam pattern. It should compensate for the lack of high beams
Im probably gonna check out these Phillips HID's this weekend to check the fitment, model number, beam pattern etc this weekend. I'm gonna bring the digicam. I think they're gonna be around 500 bucks, more or less.
My buddy's got a few sets, after I check out the quality I'll probably make a thread in this section or the for sale section and see if i can get a group buy going to knock down the price a bit.
Stock lighting in FD3S is horrible! Whenever I go cruising in the canyons I find myself having to decide whether to sacrifice wideness of the beam pattern, or how far it stretches out to.
