Arrow Kit Scratch out / rubbing compound

Hey guys I am trying to fix up a few tiny scratches on my daily driver. There a several that dont break the color, 2 that show primer and one that shows bare metal. I picked up a product call Scratch Out by KIT . It seems to be a light rubbing compund used to remove scratched and swirls in clear coat as well as a bottle of duplicolor touchup paint. I am planning on filling the primer and metal level scratches with the paint and then buffing over them with the Scratch out once its dry.

WIll this work? Is there any possibility of the scratch out damaging my existing paint? I just want to clean her up before I wax her to prevent any snow/ice from making the scratches worse but I dont want to risk damaging the paint. It still looks perfectly fine from 10ft.

Thanks in advance for any input.
