JVC question

i got a 90 vert and about 6 months ago i bought a jvc head unit, well yesterday when i left for school, the speakers wouldn't work (they would cut out ramdomly), the subs did work though , but nothing else (speaker wise) get to school, rewire the hole system. same problem still there, if i punch the radio it works for alittle while then quits agian. whats wroge with this radio? its still like brand new. i am planning to buy another one in a week r 2 if i can not solve the problem, what kind should i get one of my friends got a blapunk (sp?) and hasn't had a problem with it in over a year and it sounds good, but my other friend said they r real shitty and break easy, and says i should stay with a jvc. they r both audio experts, and both say my deck fried, but neither can figure out y, both check my wires and said they were all fine. y did the deck fry? r jvc's famous for this r something?

Hey rx7 drive, I am a dealer in both jvc and blapunk. I would check to see if the speaker wire is grounded out any where from the radio to the speakers. Ive had very few problems with jvc. Blapunk Does not have all the hype like other brands. I dont care what anyone says blapunk is still one of the best. Granted they dont look as flashy as other brands but its german enginering.
