Just installed radio and speakers and i get static!!!
i have a 87 GXL and i just installed a sony tape deck (the one b4 the Xplodes) and its 45X4 watts.. i also installed sony Xplodes 6.5in 180watts 3ways (rear) and pineer 4in 100watts 2way (front) and i ran all new speaker wire through out the car.. i only used the factory 12v constant and 12v ing. activation for the radio..
so now for the problem... when i turn the radio on and set my radio station i can here the station but there static in the back round.. when the station is just talking with no music there fine but as soon as music hits in there lots of static.. i thought it might have been the bass so i turned it all the way off and no diff... now i think it could be a bad ground.. what do you guys think.. i need help as i am sick of listenign to static every morning.. also i keep blowing my interior fuse for some reason.. is the radio pulling to much power?? i need fast answers guys thanks..
thanks Dave
