Tell me what you guys think of this setup. But first: I know Sony Explods are not the best speakers/subs/amps on the market but they certainly arent the worst either. My car is gloss black with all red and black interior so I went with explodes to keep the color motif intact. Anyways opinions on my system:

Sony Explode Face (best of series)
Boston Acoustic speakers in front
Sony Explode speaker in back (covers left off)
4 12" Sony Explode Sub Woofers in custom box (shaped like a half pipe with 2 on the bottom and one on each raised side)
760 Watt Sony Explode Amp powering subs
Rockford-Fosgate Punch 200 amp powering speakers.

What do you guys think? Certainly hits MUCH better than the 2 Pioneer 8s that are in my GST.

 

Sounds good, but thats ALOT of weight for someone trying to win $200 I hope all that is easily removeable.

 

Haha you are right. But anyways, yeah the subs are easily removable which accounts for the majority of the weight. The added amps don't even weigh as much as the spare tire and tools which are gone.
