Exclamation Jl Audio......

i have the 5 1/4 JL AUDIO components and was thinkin about throwin them into the FD.....do any of u guys know if itll FIT?? or the magnet is goin to hit the window goin up and down??? i DONT want to get that lil exten. thingy.......
any advice?

BIG!!!!!! it wont fit!!
and the stock speaker is GLUED onto the metal piece on the door....NORMAL?????

I know that you talkin' FD but...

I have replaced all of the speakers in my '91 and they were all glued to the metal mounting plates!

Also for the 5-1/4, I had to make spacers to put oversized 6-1/2's in the
door of my '91, it was close but with the spacer the magnet just cleared the window.

Now if I could only find what the surround is rubbing on
