hey guys, my entire system was stolen 2 weeks ago so i am trying to build a cheap one for the time being. i found 2 brand new Jensen bass tubes, 8" woofer 375W max, 125W RMS. I can get these for about 50$ each as opposed to 170$each. do you think these would sound any good? worth it or not?
im thinking that i might be able to make a temporary bass solution for 200$ or so

 

I would venture to guess they are not worth it. Are they powered? how little do you want to spend to get buy?

 

no they arent powered, i can buy a cheap amp off of a friend thats 100x2...i just have no cash right now since im going to school, and i didnt exactly need all the bass i used to have

 

my advise is you should wait. save your money and do it right. you'll be happier with the end result. yeah, i know you're probably going through bass withdrawl but that's what home stereo systems are for.

 

i put one of those in my sisters car!
It was ok.. Nothing great but got the job done...

If i wasnt a hot head id have it in my FD right now...
