I got a pair of Infinity Reference series 4"s to go in the doors, and they're pretty bad. I seriously think the stockers might've been better. I'm pretty **** about my music quality, so what's something that I could throw in there instead? I'm looking at around $250 for just the doors.

for 4" or for what? You can get some really nice rainbow comps to throw in their, i have gone through 8 different sets of speakers and my next set i am going back to rainbow. If you are looking for a 4" drivers check out madisound.com and look at seas or scan-speak or even vifa.

For anything that'll fit in the doors. I'd like a component set with the driver's in the doors and then tweeters surface mounted on the dash facing up at the windshield. Last time I was just in a hurry to get something in it cause I couldn't do without music, so I just put the Infinity's in there from Best Buy. They didn't have the ability to mod the doors to fit anything better, so I just left it the way it is.
