Internal Lights (not Dash) not working
The internal lights from when you open the door are not comming on, ('87 model) even if I push the lights on near the rear view mirror, or set the slide switch for on, I don't get any light. I'm not sure which fuse to check as the head lights still work.
The problem started when I fixed a bad wire to my amp, since then I have the light problem and I get no display on my CD head unit (will not turn on). I have check the fuses for the radio and the Audio fuse in the kick panel.
Anyone know what I should be looking for now?

I'm not too familiar w/ the FC's, but there should be a fuse in the driver side kickpanel (whichever side that is for you lol). It's ALL the way inside, deep. For us in the US, driver side is left, so on the left side, to the left of the clutch pedal (THAT'S how far back/deep it is). Pull off the cover. The cover has a diagram of the fuse box as it sits. There will be a fuse for the interior lights. I don't think it will go into the details of what parts are listed for each fuse...just the amps for each, and maybe one word for each (radio, etc). For a listing of what component corresponds to what fuse, you need the owner's manual. Go to the index (in the back), look up "fuses." Go to that page, and it'll go over the contents of each fusebox. The one you're looking for is the one that controls the dim light, map light, interior light, etc. Once you find that fuse, you should be good to go.
Oh and FYI, headlights and interior lights are on separate fuses. In fact, on the FD, the motor to flip up the lights is separate than the ability to power the lights themselves!

Thanks FDNewbie, already knew about the kick panel, was looking for which specific fuse to pull out as the Radio and illum fuses had already been check, but problem solved now, it was the "ROOM" fuse that went.
