Guys,

With interior parts so fragile hard shifts can lead to spontaneous disintegration, combined with limited to no supply. What are you guys doing? The price of the new parts available from Mazda is absurd. Used is used.

Has anyone seen solutions for the door panels, plastics?

Oh a hard shift is what took out my drivers half of the front defroster. Didn't know what the hell happened. 8" section hit the center console and shattered on impact. Impressed my co-worker, me not so much.

The drying up of these parts concerns me. Love to hear how you guys have been dealing with it.

 

Seems intresting. I might pick it up and check it out for the team. I need new interior pieces, mine work but might disentigrate at any time.

How well does carbon fiber hold up compared to the original plastic material?
