Installing rear seats in a R1 ....

Has anyone installed rear seats in a R1 or R2 ? If so ,how did you match the material in the seats to the R1,R2 ? Also has anyone installed just one side and have the battery relocated in the other side compartment. It would be a pretty cool 3 seat Rx7....

I had the rear seat from a Canada market FD in my Touring. It's the black vinyl so it matches my stock leather. I don't see any reason why you couldn't have it professionally recovered to match the R1 cloth seats, or something very close. The vinyl is pretty weak and tends to tear at the stitches anyway, I'll eventually need to have mine recovered. The bottom cushion is one piece, so to split it you would be looking at something totally custom.
