Installing Kenwood head unit in FD

I have found the head unit I want online for so much cheaper than at a store the only problem is the store (Best Buy) does free installation and I have never installed a deck before.

Suppose I wanted to install the following deck in my '93 FD(no bose system):

http://www.millionbuy.com/kenkdcmp522.html

Would I just need a wiring harness and antenna adapter to do this install or is there anything else I would need? Is removing the factory head unit a difficult task?

Thanks - any help would be !greatly appreciated

Hi,

you anly need a Mazda to ISO adaptor and a antenna adaptor to feed the two wires into one for your headunit.
Also don't forget to ground your head by using the separate factory ground wire.
You can see that stuff on my website. Only in German so far, but I guess pictures can speak for themselves.

To remove the oem head you just need a tool that looks like a "U". Behind the left and right plastic parts the are two wholes on each side. You have to put the tool into those wholes to relock th head. You can also use something different that fits into the wholes but of course the tool is first choice.
