Installing FD speakers, which wires are positive? PLEASE HELP

I don't have a volt meter and it's a 1994 PEP.

I have the backs out and the drivers side rear has a white with blue stripe and a white with green strip, the passenger side has a white with blue stripe and a blue with white stripe.

I am also going to do the fronts but don't want to run into the same problem. Anyone know about those?

Before I started, a friend told me just to use a test light with the radio on but I get light when touched to either wires.

Thanks to anyone that can help me.

Hook the speakers up and turn on the radio, preferably something with some bass. If you have the polarity setup correctly the woofer should push out when the bass hits, if it is hooked up reverse it will pull in. Pretty easy to hear the difference too. Don't do it for too long though cause you can damage the speakers. Good luck.

you are better off poping the speaker if you can see them.

take a 9volt radio battery, put two wires on the end one wire on each battery terminal, when you put the + side of the wire to lead going to the speaker, and the - lead on the other, the speaker will move a direction (forwards or backwards).

The positive wire to the speaker is the wire that when the 9 volt radio battery + lead is on and the neg lead is on the other, the speaker will move out towards the interior of the car.

The positive side is the one that has the clip next to it. When you unplug it from the factory speakers, look at the clip and notice what side connects to the speaker...bobs your uncle.
