So someone hit and ran on my car last weekend. I figured I would just get all the body work out of the way now. My original plan was to go with 99 spec front. I have come across this INGS front bumper that I really like. I just dont want to pay the $1300 for it.

OK, so first of a two part question: Does anyone know of a knock-off/replica/copy of this front bumper:



Question two: I'm not the biggest fan of the lower lip section. Assuming I have an awesome body shop guy, how hard would the task of cutting the lower lip section and having a 99 spec lip fitted to the bottom of the bumper?

I did a quick little MS paint type deal of what I'm talking about. Filling in the side vent, and cutting the lower section, then ultimately having a 99 spec lip retrofitted to the bottom.

i have done a long hard search and their is no Knock off Ing+1 for out cars. SO you have to get a real one wait for it to get shipped from Japan and get your bumper.

The lower lip looks good to me on the ING bumper I think you would crazy to do something silly like adding a 99spec lip. lol

 

You could just paint the lower part black, would look good and wouldn't ruin the bumper.

 

lol, yea I suppose you are right. I thought about doing that as well. If I am going to have to pay $1000+ for the real thing, I'm not going to butcher it.

Thanks for the help, guys. I searched around for about an hour or two looking for similar bumpers but couldn't come up with anything. Looks like I'll just end up with the 99 spec front end.
