It's a matter of personal taste: I like the stock and 99spec wings on cars with little or no body mods. Larger wings go with more customized body kits.

The front looks a little overpowered for my tastes.. I can't tell if you have any rear skirts but if you do (or if you don't), you might get some more pronounce ones to help even out the sides and front. That would probably help even out the look without the wing.

Just my 2 cents...

Everyone has their own opinion... for me i got the front bumper for the big opening to cool down my intercooler and I got the cwest carbonfiber lights(brand new) for 400 bucks. I thought it was a steal so i purchased it. I know several people with the 99 kit and i didnt want the same look.

I'm thinking about going wingless also, just wondering how you went about filling up the holes.

Hey mahjik, he doesnt have any rear skirts, but you are right, it would look more evened out if he had some rear skirts on there. The front does look kind of overpowered but none the less, it still looks good.

poorboybee, i usually didn't like the look of wingless FD's, but your car along with others has opened my eyes to other options. It looks great wingless, but just get some rear skirts on there and and it'll look more even.

Ming,

I would leave it wingless until you do some other exterior changes. I love the stock, wingless look of FDs myself.

If you start tracking the car, the '99 Spec is a nice wing since its adjustable.

Beautiful car. Good choice by going wingless. For a more balanced appearance, I would reccommend
RE-Amemiya N1 rear skirts or the diffuser.

How come the driveways are asphalt, and the street is concrete?

In my opinion, I think the wheels make it infinitley better... if that makes any sense. But, I would still like the looks of small wing on the car.. maybe a 99 spec.

I like it better w/o a wing as long as FD has body kit, but when the car is stock appearance I like it with the wing better.

Good decision to take off the wing Bee

I like FDs with wings when they're stock looking. As oon as you start adding a body kit, wheels, hood, it looks better without. That's why I got rid of my Feed. I just hate the looks of stock FDs w/o wings. Just my .02

I love the stock wing, but I like the no wing look much better. If I ever did put a wing on my car it'd be either the stock 93 r1, or the 99 adjustable.

I love my r1 spoiler and don't think that I would ever take it off..... but I think wingless cars look pretty sweet too..... I guess it's just a matter of opinion

Perhaps because the "stock" ones that are wingless aren't lowered, or on bigger rims.

I think lowering the car does a great deal, lip and spoilerless comes next, and anything larger (17-18) just finishes it off.
