I did a dumb thing... on my FC door cable

Okay, I have an 87 RX7. It is the base model. NO power windows, NO power locks, NO power rear view mirrors. NO lights on the doors, or under the doors. There is NO power ANYTHING in the doors... I needed to run decent speaker gauge wire through the doors, so after 5 hours of trying to isolate the speaker wire... which I didn't, and thinking that I figured this out -- I cut the wiring harness going into the doors.

Everything is fine EXCEPT that now the interior lights don't come on when the door is open and the aftermarket alarm won't trigger when the door is open.

AND yes, this was frustration on my part, thinking that a college grad could install a custom car stereo without blowing steam out his ears... I checked every MOLEX and it looked open. I couldn't see a return circuit anywhere. There must be a door light return circuit that I've cut thats tied to the chassis mounted door switch.

Which wire should not have been cut?? (besides the whole damn loom)
Or better yet, which wires need to be rejoined?

Surely there are others who have faced this same issue of no damn room in the wiring loom to run anything but crap 20 gauge speaker wire....

Any dumbass comments are certainly earned, though I haven't burned the car to the ground yet... there's always the next project.

Nakamichi TD-45 / Pioneer CD changer / Clif Design 5.2's components in the doors / Yamaha and Nakamichi old school amps and x-overs / Clif Design 6.5' co-ax's in the shock towers / Bazooka behind the drivers seat / Tributaries A2 cable and Straight Wire speaker wire

ha, well, i did the EXACT same thing. my suggestion (even though im a freshman in college) is to undo whatever you did. take the wires that run to the dash speakers which are green/yellow stripe, splice those into the wiring harness that the doors run into. then, unless you dont have wires for speakers into your doors, run wires through the stock rubber sleeve. and viola, door speakers.
just, if you do something and something else ends up happeneing, undo it, kinda like ctrl+Z.

peace
