How to repair MAP lid on my FD

Im refinishing my interior plastics. Have stripped the 93 coating off all the pieces and painted them except the MAP pocket and lid. All came out great so far. The MAP lid I have has two cracks in it. I put ABS cement on the underside of the lid so it wont crack anymore. Im wondering what the easiest and best way of filling the cracks on the top of the lid is. Dont want to put ABS on it if it doesnt sand down easily. Should I just use fiberglass resin and sand that down? Let me know what your experience is with filling cracks in plastic for the most part. Im going to let the pieces sit for a few days before clear coating and then I have to repair broken tabs. Way more of a job than I had initially expected thats for sure. Hope the end result is long lasting.

How bad does it look? I bonded mine from the inside and the cracks on the top are barely visible now. If you're planning on painting it, then I'll bet some plastic filler from a hobby store will work.

Something like this, maybe?

Nice. so many products out there its crazy. Its not that bad but I want it smooth like the rest of the pieces. Its bad enough to see anyways and it needs to be filled. Looks like a good idea to me.
