how to remove paint stripper for taillights

how do you remove paint stripper from the taillights that dried up already? i tried wet sanding it with 300 grit, didnt work, and tried washing it out, once again didnt work, plz help me, im planning on priming the car on monday

you put paint stripper on plastic taillights?

if so its not dried stripper you are seeing its the "melted" plastic.
if its on the entire taillight you need to just buy new ones. if its on just part then you can try sanding down to where the stripper didnt penetrate to.

i don't understand what you have done. You put paint stripper on the plastic tail light? It eats plastic, you know that right.

i painted arround the tail lights, some dripped all over the tail lights and i didnt see it since it was dark

You should have just removed the tail lights takes about 1 min... but if it has 'sat' on the taillights overnight what you are most likely seeing is melted plastic.
If its not too horribly deep then you might be able to sand out. Otherwise you will have to buy a new set. Thats an expensive lessson!!

eh its my first time attempting to repaint the car myself, so i guess ill just have to accept the fact that i pissed away an entire paycheck , oh well live and learn
