So far I have removed most of the carpet in my FD. I have gotten everything out except for the pieces beneath the center console (under the radio and climate control pieces). I am kind of scared to start pulling apart my interior (the plastic pieces). If I mess up anything or break any parts, can Mazda pull the carpet and replace any of the damaged interior pieces?

If I do it all correctly, can I just cut and pull the carpet out? I am gonna get some black carpet, does the new carpet generally come with the foam and everything else? Thanks guys.

 

Yes, the carpet will come with all the foam if it is OEM. You can get away with CAREFULLY cutting the carpet behind the console.
