How much power for good sounding Audio?
I have a 1993 Touring FD and I am considering using only 60wpc for a pair of 5.25" components in/on the doors and only 180w for a single JL 10w6(original) mounted in a sealed box. The amp I am considering is conservatively rated, so actual power may be slightly more at 12v.
My primary goal is for high SQ, and not for high SPL, however, I want to be able to play music loudly and be able to clearly hear the system with the windows down and the sunroof open.
Is 60wpc in the front and 180w for the sub enough power?
If not, what's the minimum I can use for my needs?
Thank for your help!

Should be fine. My amp is (conservatively) rated at 75Wx4 and it will crank my speakers! I mean too loud for me to comfortably be in the car! I use a US Amp 4300, and honestly, I think I overbought for my needs, but it sounds great, so I'm not really complaining. Can't really help you with the sub. It should be plenty, but what is the sub rated at? If you're pushing close to the rated sub wattage, it should be
