How much does it cost to paint a 99 spec front bumper with the stock white color on my 1994 fd?

depends on who you take it to......half *** means cheap and good craftsmanship will be pricey...up to u man.


btw white 99 spec is hot

 

there is no way i would ever take my car in to get some cheap paint, so how much are you guys paying for decent paint?

 

It's not the paint that's expensive...it's getting the piece to fit well. You gotta cut (or remove) the stock re-bar, sand, shave, wet sand, and prep the piece for it's installed. I've seen it cost as much as $800 to be done RIGHT - I mean show quality work for a piece requiring considerable work to make fit properly. On the flipside, I know guys who'll swear they can do it for $200 painted all day long - but I wouldn't even drive by their shop lol

 

I had my feed front bumper painted VR for $300, and it was a perfect match. No problems to this day at all with the paint. I did all the other work though to fit it and get everything right. The bigger issue is having patience and time....

 

Adding on here.. Anyone know much it would be (roughly) to paint and install a 99 spec spoiler?

 

Darkness....swing by Dan @ Mr Spoiler, and he'll give you a quote on the spot. I don't remember how much it was, but a few locals have had it done at his shop. He's the only shop I'd recommend to work on the FD
