i have a 93 rx7 with non bose system. it has an alpine 9883 for the headunit. the radio reception is extremely poor. how can i improve itl? from searching other threads, it seems other people have the same problem. compared to my other car, the rx7 can pick up about 66% of the FM stations outside my house, and i have zero reception near my work, all i hear is static. i cannot pickup any AM stations. my power antenna is fully functional, goes up when its radio, and down when go to cd player. do i need a new antenna or this is normal for the fd?
