how to fabricate fiberglass.

If anyone know how to fabricate Fiberglass please explain. I have been trying to learn but there are very limited resources out there on it. I would really appreciate it if you could explain it to me I would like to experement making a new dash. Thanks.

1. Make a mold, buck, or matrix.
2. Cover with glass
3. Wet out glass with resin
4. Vaccuum bag or let cure or green cure for step 5
5. Repeat 2,3,& 4

You can come over and watch me produce these headlight kits doing a wet-layup with a light wood matrix. I am using US Composites 2:1 epoxy resin (Thin) and 6oz. and .75oz fiberglass cloth (Bi-directional woven). I may start using a little kevlar or carbon fibre.

thanks execpt for the whole distance thing I would take you up on it. I am gunna experement with cheap stuff from auto zone then I am gunna check out the real deal type stuff. I heard about gel coating do you know what that is or how you can do it?

I forgot to write USE MOULD RELEASE!!! Epoxy resin sticks to everything. Gel Coat is like a mould release. Not necessary for wet lay-up.
