How do you modify 99 lip to fit FD?

Can anyone tell me what the process is to modify 99 spec lip to fit a FD? Is it too difficult for the average guy? Once it is on, does it look as flush as the FD R1 lip?

It's not too hard, you'll have to drill a few holes into the lip bc some holes on the bumper won't match. Once installed, it looks pretty good. There is one place where the lip will stick out 3/4" out that won't match to the bumper. It's not too noticeable though. Do a search or check out the gallery on this forum to see what the fit looks like.

The original R1 lip is very hard to find (expensive at dealer and used ones are pretty beat up). So, the 99 spec is a good alternative. Corksport.com and ricksrotary.com have them I think.
