How do the speakers mount

I know this is in the wrong section but I was getting no response because I have seen at most 5 people in the interior forum. Ok, I need to know how the non bose speakers mount. In the doors and in the rear. If you could post picks as well that would be great. Also what size speakers are stock for the car not taking into account the center speakers. thanks again

what do you mean how do they mount?

there is a metal brace that looks like a small table with a hole in it for the speaker that bolts to the frame in the rear. the front has a black plastic mountin surface, the speaker just bolts right into it.

"How do non-Bose speakers mount" would have been a better subject.

Pull the door and rear quarter panels off and you'll see. IIRC, the door speakers bolt onto factory housings.

thanks for the replies guys. I riped out my old heavy bose system and am installing a 5.1 surround which believe it or not is lighter. anyway I have 5 1/4 components for the front and rear and a 3 1/2 for center. I wa just wondering if non touring panels would be the way to go. I guess soo. And max you are right, I tried to change the title but it wouldnt let me.
