check out the "Black Sparkle over BC25 Black" and the "Black Diamond over BC25 Black". might be one of these with something else added like their ice pearls, since it has kind of a dark blue flop on the edges. can't say for sure without seeing the car in person though

To my untrained eye, it looks like a really good polish/wax job on a freshly painted black car in a white room with track lighting. Nothing special except the lighting. Maybe I'm wrong, though.
Toyota needs that car. NOW. That I'm sure of.

I don't think so. Really good paint/polish/wax doesn't create a gradient like that does it? It looks kinda purplish to no?

Understand, that even if you had the same paint & applied it to your FD, it would look totally different.
Concept cars are usually painted with custom paints, to show of their style lines.
Although this paint would look great on an FD, it would probably look darker.
My guess is a metallic base, with pearl etc.... Followed by an *** load of clear coats with various additives.

^ You may be on to something. It does look like is has dual layer effect. I was thinking gun metal base with titanium clear. It's amazing how the top coat completely over shadows the base coat at angles.
Well I saw another car from the Geneva Auto Convention here is one paint color I thought would look great on a FD here is a picture of it http://www.autoblog.com/photos/alfa-...-2011/#3927813

I'm not a huge fan of flat colors but that really pops out at me.
flourescent lights my friend. Makes even regular OEM colors pop. looks like the same grey on the 07 IS350. ive sprayed it a few times, its aight. Kinda plain, but with the correct lighting, it pops off nice.
looks like a darkgray base with mabye some purple red and blue flakes as a light accent. With eaither a ghost pearl or mabye even an anthracite pearl for like the first two coats of clear then just flat sanded and another couple of coats to give it that dimension. I dont see orange peel note the flat sanding, and then just a really good buff job.

You know that looks a lot like this color here but color sanded to a dull finish and NOT polished afterwards.
